SPECIAL Class with Kent Klineman (Broadway Actor and teacher)/MTV's MADE
Broadway actor and acting teacher Kent Klineman (www.kentklineman.com) is going to be doing a FREE acting class at The Actor's Key. Kent teaches a combination of Meisner and Linklater techniques and applies both to scene work. The class will consist of a little bit of a warmup, Linklater style, then repetition work, then scene work (scenes will be provided there by MTV, who is sponsoring the event). This class will be taped, and parts of it will be used for an upcoming episode of MTV's MADE.
Please bring a towel or yoga met for the warm up!

"How To Go Pro" with Arriane Alexander- Free Intro Class
This is the Free Intro to Arriane's four-week class. The $10 is to hold your spot- when you show up at the workshop, the fee will be credited to your account when you check in for the class (if you do not show up an do not cancel, you will not be credited back).
In this intro class, you will learn how to Present Yourself Like A Pro when you walk in the room.
We will cover:
-What you need to do to make a strong impression every time you workshop, audition or have a meeting
-What your type is
-The first impression people have of you
-How to pick the perfect scene for workshops

Jason is a HEAD CASTING DIRECTOR at LaPadura/Hart Casting! Check castingabout.com to see his current credits!
**This is being run like a class with everyone in the room. There will be no evaluation sheets.
Everyone sits in, that way they can learn from each others work. There's a wrap up at the end. The class should take 2-3 hours. We do not normally allow "earlies" to be used in this format, and we advise that you don't take any workshops that start within 3 hours after Jason's.
CHOOSE ONLY FROM THE SIDES UNDER JASON'S NAME. The format for the workshop is a normal Q&A, and then we'll do the sides one by one (we will have a reader, so no partnered scenes) and Jason will help you work on your audition technique. But it IS in front of the class. AGES 18 and up ONLY.
