Jason LaPadura
Jason is the HEAD CD at LaPadura/Hart Casting. His credits include The Event, the Made for TV Movie Geek Charming, the NBC Pilot "Playboy" (a drama about the 1960's club in Chicago), Heroes, the Disney films Hatching Pete, High School Musical 1, 2, and 3, and Camp Rock, and the series Lipstick Jungle, Cane, Crossing Jordan, Summerland, American Dreams, and What About Brian.
He has amassed quite the resume since he started casting 25 years ago! With his wealth of knowledge, and resume, we are thrilled to have him coming in to teach a one night intensive workshop class!
**This is being run like a class with everyone in the room. There will be no evaluation sheets.
CHOOSE ONLY FROM THE SIDES UNDER JASON'S NAME. The format for the workshop is a normal Q&A, and then we'll do the sides one by one (we will have a reader, so no partnered scenes) and Jason will help you work on your audition technique. But it IS in front of the class/
Everone sits in, that way they can learn from each others work. There's a wrap up at the end. The class should take 2-3 hours. We do not normally allow "earlies" to be used in this format, and we advise that you don't take any workshops that start within 3 hours after Jason's.
PLEASE NOTE: All information is current as of when the Casting Director is booked for the workshop. We are not responsible for casting directors changing offices/projects! GENERAL RULES Each of our Casting Director Teachers are scheduled in advance. If there are changes to their schedules or the shows they work on, we cannot be held responsible- this is truly part of the business, and the shows are there to let you know their experience as you choose who you want to learn from. We will try to get you as much information as quickly as we can if there are any changes. If casting directors have to cancel unexpectedly we will inform you ASAP and reschedule.
