The Actor's Key offers acting classes and workshops with casting directors for both adult actors and young people. These workshops are a "key" for actors to get a leg up on the competition, and walk through the door to the next level of success.

The workshops are an excellent way for the seasoned veteran to further their career by getting in front of the right people. We also encourage actors beginning a career in the entertainment industry to attend in order to learn what casting directors look for, and fine-tune the skills they have been learning in regular acting classes.

The Actor's Key is unique because the actor is always working with a scene we give you ahead of time—and one on one with a reader—so you get to prepare and be spectacular in front of the casting person. And you get written feedback every time, invaluable for passing on to your representation and for your growth as an actor.

We highly recommend using these workshops synergistically with acting classes (we offer a few and can recommend some fabulous acting teachers for private coaching!)) to gain a full, well-rounded education in the business of acting and the craft of performing. Acting classes help you to learn how to be a good actor— casting director workshops aid you in honing those skills and allow you to network with the people who could potentially hire you.
