www.castingabout.com - this website is run by Breakdown Services and is updated daily with who is casting what, CD addresses, what shows are currently casting, what is canceled, and what is on hiatus. It is an invaluable resource for keeping up to date on what is going on in the casting world.
http://www.backstage.com - just in case you live under a rock, here is Backstage- one of the best resources out there for actors! Backstage also periodically lists free SAG and AFTRA workshops.
http://www.actors-network.com - The Actors' Network is responsible for the longest on-going performer's business information and education curriculum in the history of entertainment. No University, or organization has created and facilitated such a program. To learn more about The Actors' Network a convenient web Press Kit can be read by clicking on the link.
www.IMDB.com - IMDB lists any and all SAG and AFTRA projects and their casts, crews, production companies, agents, etc. A great resource to see a casting director, producer, actor, or director’s credits. Keep in mind, it sometimes takes anywhere from a few weeks to a few months for credits to show up on here. Be sure that IF YOU ARE ON IT, your contact info, agent info, and credit information are correct! ESPECIALLY the contact info- if a casting person is checking you out because they saw you in that co-starring part on Wizards of Waverly Place and they want to call you in, this is the first place they are going to look. Check out IMDBpro.com as well- you can do a 14 day trial for free!
www.actorsaccess.com - This is the actor accessible side of Breakdown Services, There are Union and Non-Union: Student Films, TV shows, films, commercials. It is a great resource.
