To All Our Actors-
Happy 2 Year Anniversary! Thank you for making our "baby" into the successful, wonderful place it has become. You ARE The Actor's Key. We put our trust and hope in you that you can use our workshops to better yourselves as actors and further your careers. We are so proud of all of you- we get loads of positive feedback from casting people who are infinitely impressed by your talent and determination.
Finally, we are so grateful to our amazing team- Barbara, Jessica, Jen, Seth and Nate- we couldn't do it without you. Thank you for making The Actor's Key possible!

Our goal is to give as much individual attention to each client as possible, in order to learn their wants and needs in this business. We believe that by helping actors learn from casting directors, we can help guide them on how to book their next acting job.
We wanted to let you know a little bit about the ladies who run The Actor's Key.
So without further adieu:
A Brief History of Kristen and Katie:
Kristen brings a BA in Communications and a vast knowledge of the entertainment industry, specifically acting and casting. She also has a strong history of working with children and young adults, both as a teacher (she is an 8th grade language arts teacher) and as a coach (U-10 AYSO Girls' Soccer Teams and high school girls' teams). She is a working actress who has appeared on Monk, Criminal Minds, Nickelodeon's Just For Kicks, Wizards of Waverly Place, the Fox pilot The Apostles, and as a series regular in the spec pilot Barry and Ted (from one of the writers on iCarly). She has been an agent's assistant at KTA (Kolstein Talent Agency) in NY, and interned at several casting offices in Los Angeles. She has a vast knowledge of film, television, and the inner-workings of the "business" of acting.
Also a seasoned actress, Katie studied acting in New York City at The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts and also has worked as an intern at top NY and LA agencies.
Both ladies grew up on the East Coast (Kristen in New Jersey, Katie in West Virginia) and pursued acting in New York City for several years prior to moving out to Los Angeles!
